While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about. ~ Angela Schwindt

3

Pictures on my camera.  Pathetic, I know...  I have quite a few on my phone, so I'm in the process of uploading those, but in the meantime...here are my 3...

Our new toy!  I found this Gator at a garage sale a couple weeks ago.  Not sure who was more excited, me or the kids!  I have wanted to get them one FOREVER, but just couldn't bring myself to pay $350 for it...this was a STEAL and the kids LOVE it! Even came with a spare set of tires!  The day we gave it to them, I literally did not hear/see them for 2 hours...needless to say, I got a LOT done! LOL

Don't ask me why, but these two LOVE to play in Kyler's crib. (And the pack & play when it's out)  They throw every blanket, pillow, and stuffed animal they can find and have a little party...they love it, and that's what's important, right?  :)

Happy 2nd Birthday Kyler!

Kyler turned 2 on March 11th.  We had a great time at her party, and really appreciated all of our family helping us celebrate and ALL of the gifts she got!

The Birthday Girl!  All dressed up and ready to PARTY!

Colton & Kyler pose for a picture before the party started...

Opening presents...with plenty of help

Uncle Blaine & Aunt Tarin always know just what to pick...

And everyone had to take a turn...even if it was a PINK car...LOL

Kyler's Rio Cake, made by Aunt Tina.
Rio is currently (for the past 6+ months) Kyler's favorite movie.

Family picture before we sang Happy Birthday and had cake!

Not sure why, but Kyler looked like she was about to cry when everyone was singing to her...guess she's not a fan of being the center of attention after all!

Cake was good!

Not sure what started this, but Uncle Jed and Colton ended up having a little food fight with the cake.  I'd say from the looks of this picture that Uncle Jed won...LOL

Our Very Own Playground...

Most kids go to the park to play on equipment they don't have at home...  We go to Papa's shop to play on his equipment!  I always think our kids are very fortunate that they have access to so many 'toys' that other kids don't...they may come home filthy, but they LOVE it!

Jace was hanging out with us last Friday night.  This was how we kept him confined...  JUST KIDDING!  He LOVED all of Uncle 'Deek's' toys...

Kids playing on top of the rock pile

Kyler 'driving' the Hoe.  She can be a girly girl, but she's not afraid to get her hands dirty either!

Jace also got to drive the mini-excavator

Jace and Colton hanging out while Kyler mowed the yard with her Dad.  Always nice to be able to use a mower ride as leverage to keep them in one place!  These two are best buds!

Fun, Fun, Fun!

We've been doing a lot around here lately...as usual.  Finally catching up and putting pictures on the blog.  These pictures are off of my phone from our latest adventures...

We took the kids to the bull riding finals in St. Joe...they LOVED IT!  Thanks Uncle Kevin and Ashley for their rodeo gear!

I took the kids to St. Joe shopping one Saturday, and the weather was AWESOME!  So awesome, that everybody needed new shades...

AND...we got a new mower, which meant we spent an entire weekend mowing and working outside...and we had so much fun!  The kids were FILTHY.  And sunburned.  Who would've thought you'd need sunscreen in March?  We'll be more careful next time!

Hunting

Jace came over to play with us this weekend...and while he was here, the kids went hunting.  Out the window for coyotes, deer and turkeys...  They had SO much fun!

Funny thing was, later that night, we came home after dark and had two deer run into our pasture and three more standing in our yard...  Those deer better watch out!

Valentine Outtakes...

Every time we do this, I ask myself WHY DO WE TRY TO DO THIS???

Getting two kids to sit still for a picture...not completely impossible.  But asking them to sit still, smile and look at the camera (both at the same time)...pretty much impossible.

This is about as good as it gets...  ;)

To ask 3 kids to do this...yeah, I don't know why we do this either!

The two little ones are not quite old enough for bribery...

But I did get this one after we played with the train for a while!

And then Colton decided to cooperate...UGH!

*The boys' valentine shirts are compliments of Grandma Boos.  She couldn't find any cute shirts for the boys (notice Kyler's says 'I LOVE GRANDMA'), so she decided to make some herself...and did a fantastic job!
